A former professional footballer, Melbourne based kiwi artist Hannah Wilkinson picked up a paintbrush before kicking a ball.
Art has always been an integral part of her life, even throughout her professional athletic career. Now retired from sport, murals by Wilkinson have featured in both New Zealand and Australia, ranging from business offices to New Zealand’s national stadium – Eden Park. Given her ability to capture athletes in motion and in their peak
expressive state, prominent sporting entities have featured her digital work across their media platforms. Canvas works by Wilkinson have also been requested widely, including a large, finely detailed acrylic work featuring NZ Olympic athletes in Paris 2024.
